Tanzania to Support Small-Scale Miners to Boost Productivity

The Tanzanian government, through its Ministry of Minerals, has committed to fostering a supportive environment for small-scale miners. This initiative aims to enhance access to services and opportunities that will increase production and productivity in the mining sector. The announcement was made by Deputy Minister Dr. Steven Lemomo Kiruswa during the closing of the 2026 Lindi Region Mining event.
