New Nonlinear Theory Improves Settlement Prediction for CEP Piles
Audio narration · Coming soon
This study introduces a nonlinear settlement prediction theory for Consolidated Expanded-Plate (CEP) piles that accounts for the effect of the consolidated soil body. Unlike previous models, this approach incorporates shaft resistance from both the consolidated transition and plate sections, improving accuracy. The model is implemented using a displacement-based iterative algorithm in MATLAB.
