Development of Transparent Reporting Tool for AI Diagnostic Models in Chinese Medicine

This study addresses the need for a specialized reporting guideline for AI-based diagnostic prediction models in Chinese medicine, which differ fundamentally from modern medicine diagnostics. Using the Delphi consensus method, a multidisciplinary panel developed and evaluated a checklist tailored to the unique characteristics of Chinese medicine diagnostics. This tool aims to improve transparency and applicability in reporting AI diagnostic models within this field.
