Netflix Remakes Steinbeck’s East of Eden with a Feminist Perspective

Netflix has released a remake of Steinbeck’s East of Eden, reimagined for the feminist age. Florence Pugh stars as Cathy Ames, bringing a more humanized portrayal to the character, though the series does not fully capture the original novel’s sense of devastation. The production is noted for its visual appeal.
