Uganda Government Plans Digital Modernisation of NGO Regulation

The Government of Uganda, via the Ministry of Internal Affairs, is initiating reforms to modernise NGO regulation. This includes implementing digital registration, enhancing inter-agency coordination, and strengthening accountability. The National Bureau for NGOs is developing an online system to facilitate electronic document submission, payments, and access to regulatory services.
