Met Police Officer Charged Following BBC Panorama Investigation

This development follows a BBC Panorama investigation that prompted the police watchdog to look into alleged misconduct at Charing Cross police station in London. As a result of the inquiry, a Metropolitan Police officer has been formally charged.
