Ethiopia-Djibouti Pipeline Project Launched to Boost Regional Energy and Trade

Ethiopia, Djibouti, and the Dangote Group have announced a major infrastructure project to enhance fuel transportation and energy security along the Ethiopia-Djibouti corridor. The initiative, supported by Ethiopian Investment Holdings and Dangote Group, aims to unlock greater economic potential in the region through a 120-kilometre refined petroleum pipeline. This announcement was made by Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, Djibouti President Ismail Omar Guelleh, and Dangote Group President Aliko Dangote during the project's launch ceremony.
