Study Finds No Clear Link Between Coffee Consumption and Diabetes Risk Over 10 Years
Audio narration · Coming soon
This study followed 1,158 adults in Italy for a decade to examine the relationship between coffee consumption and the development of impaired fasting glucose or type 2 diabetes. Researchers found no statistically significant difference in diabetes risk between those drinking two to three cups of coffee daily and non-consumers. However, the small size of the non-consumer group limits the confidence in ruling out any risk difference.
