Tanzania partners with Russia to launch first Earth observation satellite

Tanzania has partnered with Russia to develop its first Earth observation satellite. This satellite project is distinct from TanSat-1, a CubeSat developed with Côte d’Ivoire under the UNOOSA-JAXA KiboCUBE programme for deployment from the ISS. The collaboration marks a new step in Tanzania's space capabilities.
