Fake WhatsApp clone appears above real app on Google Play Store

This report highlights the appearance of a fake WhatsApp clone on the Google Play Store, which is being displayed in a sponsored slot above the legitimate app. The clone has already amassed over 500,000 downloads, raising concerns about app store security and user safety. This follows a similar incident involving a fake Chrome clone earlier in the week.
