Repairing the iPhone Duo’s folding screen costs nearly as much as a new iPhone

Apple has published repair costs for the iPhone Duo without AppleCare Plus, revealing very high prices. For instance, battery service costs $229, while repairing inner display damage can cost up to $999, which is comparable to the price of a new iPhone. This highlights the financial risk of not purchasing AppleCare Plus for this device.
