Tesla is expanding its Powershare Home Backup feature to include some Model 3 and Model Y owners, allowing their EV batteries to serve as backup power during outages. Previously, this feature was limited to the Cybertruck and required Tesla's Powerwall 3, but now support is extended to other Powerwall versions as well.
