Waymo partners with Toyota to deploy robotaxis in Japan and the U.K.

Waymo has announced a partnership with Toyota to supply self-driving versions of Toyota's electric bZ4X vehicles. Testing of these robotaxis will begin in Japan next year, marking an expansion of Waymo's autonomous vehicle operations into new international markets including the U.K.
