Tanzania to Invest Over 500 Billion Shillings in Dairy Sector Transformation

The Tanzanian government announced plans to invest more than 500 billion shillings in the Dairy Sector Transformation and Climate Change Project. This initiative aims to expand the dairy value chain and improve the livelihoods of small-scale livestock farmers. The announcement was made during a meeting with the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Industries, Trade, Agriculture and Livestock in Dodoma on November 6, 2026.
