International Guideline Established for Personalized Phage Therapy in Difficult Infections

An international working group led by the German Society for Infectious Diseases has developed the first global guideline for the use of personalized phage therapy in treating hard-to-treat infections. The guideline was created with input from 20 professional organizations, 18 international experts including regulatory agency representatives, and two patient advocacy groups. This marks a significant step in standardizing phage therapy practices worldwide.
