Lightweight hierarchical composite aerogel achieves ultrawideband microwave absorption
Audio narration · Coming soon
This study presents a lightweight hierarchical composite aerogel made from MoSe2, activated carbon, and montmorillonite nanosheets embedded in a chitosan matrix. The optimal sample demonstrated a minimum reflection loss of -88 dB at 2.6 mm thickness, effectively absorbing microwaves across the entire X and Ku bands. These findings highlight the potential of such aerogels for efficient microwave absorption applications.
