Enhanced Tribological Performance of PTFE Composites with Polyimide Pulp and GCNTs
Audio narration · Coming soon
This study investigates PTFE composites reinforced with polyimide pulp and graphitized carbon nanotubes to improve wear resistance and friction properties. The composite containing 5 wt% PI pulp and 1 wt% GCNT showed a significant reduction in coefficient of friction and wear rate compared to pure PTFE. These findings highlight potential advancements for PTFE applications in demanding mechanical components.
