Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 2 continues to be raised over Batanes and the northeastern Babuyan Islands as Typhoon Rosal, also known internationally as Champi, has slightly weakened. The typhoon is moving north-northwestward over the sea east of Taiwan, according to the Philippine weather bureau PAGASA.
