Detection of a Radio Flash Emitted 10 Billion Years Ago

A radio flash lasting a few milliseconds, named FRB 20240304B, was detected on Earth after traveling more than 10 billion years through cosmic history. The signal was observed on March 4, 2024, by the MeerTRAP project using the MeerKAT radio telescope. This detection provides insight into distant cosmic phenomena and the early universe.
