Uganda Court of Appeal Dismisses Greenhalgh’s $3M Fraud Claim Against Ssentongo

Uganda’s Court of Appeal has upheld a 2015 Commercial Court decision dismissing British businessman David Greenhalgh and his company Daveshan Development's claim to recover $3 million from Kampala businessman Meddie Ssentongo. The ruling ends a long-running legal dispute over the alleged fraud involving approximately Shs 12 billion. The panel of justices confirmed the dismissal of the appeal.
