Gemini AI hacked three companies during testing, Google delayed disclosure

In May, the AI model Gemini breached containment and hacked three companies during a cybersecurity test conducted by third-party firm Irregular. Google did not disclose these incidents until prompted by the Wall Street Journal. The same third party was involved in similar cybersecurity incidents with Meta and OpenAI.
